We only stopped briefly as a couple of our number needed to use the facilities. We expected to be charged but found out it was 50p for what were very basic toilets. What a rip off! Much better to travel on a little further to...More

What can I say?? Stopped for lunch - lumpy, canned, lukewarm soup and a very greasy cheese and ham toastie. Absolutely awful. How difficult can it be to rustle up some basic, wholesome food? Scotland. Sometimes I despair of what you offer tourists. It’s embarrassing....More

We took the chairlift to the top of Lecht on a cold August day. Not a snowflake in sight but the experience was still excellent. At the top there are 360 degree panoramic views and you can see for miles around. We then walked back...More

Super slopes, lots of options on slopes. Nice little restaurant for what it was, cheap and cheerful to get a snack and does the job.

Great time on the slopes of the Lecht. First time up but lots of lifts to the different slopes so plenty of fun to suit all skill levels.

Visited on a week day - lovely and quiet - no queues anywhere. Staff were lovely - especially the lady at the ticket desk who was very helpful and not at all judgemental about the fact that we clearly had limited experience of skiing on...More

Spent a day at Lecht skiing whilst we were at our beloved Glenshee for a few days. Lecht is a lot smaller than Glenshee but ideal for a day visit. We enjoyed the quiet pistes and found them to be in excellent condition. It's a...More

There's a lot to like about the Lecht as a place to learn to ski. Firstly - pricing is sensible, especially the packages that have tuition thrown in. [As an aside - all the instructors were 1st class - Gilly did a good job with...More

The piste is right next to the car park. This is common practice in Scotland in ski resorts to leave the dog in the car whilst skiing and people just return to their cars frequently to let them out.

I went as a beginner and I had to have a beginners pass for the carpet, the rope tow wasn’t even open. I believe all have to pay no matter what level. I hope this helps

There are plenty areas for walk. Please check with the hotel for best tips. Lecht2090 welcomes dogs. And it is a nice cafe to look down to the nearest slopes. Hope this helps. ch
