Another great place to visit with family or as a couple. We took our bikes and there are various different routes you can take around the park. Two play areas, one for younger children and the other aimed at older ones. There's also a cafe that does hot and cold snacks. Parking is £3.50 for the whole day and if... More

Visited today and found this country park one of the best I've visited. Prior to our stroll we decided to have lunch at tye cafe. Firstly it was nice that we could sit outside the cafe with the dog. We ordered hot dogs and wedges along with a side salad. The food was *very* good and prices were fair. Other... More

We have an annual pass to the park and get a lot of use out of it, though we're seriously considering whether we should renew it when it expires at the end of this month. As it gets to warmer weather it's quite nice to have a few laps around the ground and then relax with a refreshment from the... More

Enjoyed a lovely walk here with the children who took their bikes. it's been a few years since we have visited and could see quite a lot of work has been done to further improve not only the amenities but also the surroundings. We enjoyed a cup of tea and toasted tea cakes in the cafe at lunchtime which was... More

When here to exercise the dogs and get some fresh air and I was very pleasantly surprised and this place is a hidden gem. Loads of paths to walk round and dogs seem to love it as did we. Paths are wide so it's easy to walk at your own speed and you don't get in other people's way. 100%... More

We visit regularly as the play areas are fantastic. The younger children's playground is bright and clean with a pirate theme and it is right outside the cafe, so handy for adults to grad a coffee. The older children's playground is fantastic, some challenging equipment in a lovely setting. The pools make a pleasant walk around, easy for young children... More

We have visited this Country Park regularly over many years. Always clean and the paths/walks are well signposted. Our 3 grandchildren love the 2 play areas with the one for younger children recently refurbed. It's a great place to let off some steam on a fine winters day and finish with a hot drink in the cafe. Well worth the... More
