Words cannot describe this absolute marvel of engineering, made me speechless. Was in the Dales for a week, and this was my number one place I visited.

What wow a sight to behold! I never tire of rounding the corner and feasting my eyes on this magnificent structure. Well worth a visit, plenty of parking nearby, no need to park by the viaduct spoiling everyone’s pictures.

Originally there were two tracks over the viaduct, but during repair and reconstruction this has been reduced to a single track, reverting to double at each end of the structure. Ruth.
