I had stopped visiting this little chocolate shop due to rude staff and not being allowed to use the toilet unless you bought a drink! However, we had a chocoholic stay with us so we decided to have another visit and so pleased we did. Its now under new management and the staff (even the youngsters) were very pleasant and... More

My family and I visited The Little Chocolate Shop in April and I must say that this is a little gem of a find. Firstly, we felt very welcome by the staff who were friendly and attentive. There is a wide variety of different flavours of chocolate being sold from their main counter and it is delicious (my favourite are... More

There was a horrible smell in the shop (definitely not chocolate!) which almost put us off buying, but myself, my partner and my friend all bought some chocolates. Unfortunately the chocolate was not good quality, the flavours were insipid and the Turkish delight one was so old that the centre had crystallized into an unpleasant mess. Sorry, won't be visiting... More

I note the reviewer mentions another chocolate company and as I can find absolutely no foundation for the comments insulting our hardworking team, I can only assume that the intention was to cause harm. The smell in the Little Chocolate Shop yesterday was the same as it always is - one of delicious Belgian chocolate which is widely complemented. The... More

WOW lovely chocolate and lovely people. Set on an industrial estate this is brilliant to see what is going on and how to make chocolate, then purchase some. There were making the biggest Easter Egg I have ever seen!

Visited today. There is a large range of chocolate goods (rather like Thorntons) a few quirky moulds (chocolate pizzas) fairly expensive; although very popular I was not inspired.

Hi Thank you for your review and visiting us. I do feel the need to highlight that our chocolates are quite different to Thornton's in that they are not mass produced by machines in an industrial process. We import fine Belgian chocolate which we then temper before hand making our chocolates/fillings and package them on-site (a process which can be... More

Popped in today to sample the goodies and met the new owners who are very keen to talk about the chocolate experience and gave us a tour. The smell is divine and my daughter made her own Easter egg which 4 hours later is all gone..... speaks volumes. Some really good gift ideas too. We will be back!

The thing I like about this shop (apart from the delicious chocolate of course) is that you can buy gifts for others that are of high quality and you know will be unique making everything that much more special.
