All Saint's Church overlooks the busy Market Place yet it remains haven of peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle. In addition to the usual memorials that give a flavour of the local history, high up, the walls are painted with medieval murals,...More

with interesting paintings and a written history provided, also a candle place where donations are accepted and a visitors book inviting requests for prayers to be said for any worries you might have. Yes, a thought-provoking calming place to remember people dear to you.

Revisit this beautiful church every year where I was married 54 years ago. On entering the Church I always have a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Well worth a visit if this type of building is of interest to you.

In what is a charming little town, the parish church is equally so. Set amongst a surround of green trees, All Saints adds yet another beautiful building to a wonderful place.

In the small market town of Helmsley the bells do chime loudly to welcome you to the church, its nice reflected place to visit, with some quirky things to see, nice stained glass and all round worth a moment or two of thoughtfulness.

What a nice church this is - with beautiful painted ceilings. Nice place to sit, reflect, and think about things after a day of touring Yorkshire. Pleasant surprise. True Gem
