We love going to the family service here. The junior church group, ably assisted by wonderful seniors (!) control the service with awesome puppet shows to backing tracks of Elvis Presley songs converted to something spiritual, it’s great fun!! Peace and love Alec

This is a beautiful church well worth a visit. Lots to see, plenty of interesting capital heads. Attractive setting too with several good beer pubs within walking distance.

This is a Dorset hidden gem. The wooden roof is unique and dates from 1485. The tombs of the Turbervilles are here (sound familiar?)

One of Dorset's best kept secrets. The interior roof is stunning. A medieval masterpiece of the woodcarvers art. Twelve life size apostles given by Cardinal John Morton, Chancellor to Henry 7th and Archbishop of Canterbury in the fifteenth century. Also made famous in fiction in Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Not to be missed if visiting Dorset.…
