Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place, nice occasion, really good weather, a lot of people and things to do and to buy. But a lot of workers were in a bad mood and the worst thing toilets, way too less of them for that much amount of people

If you are planning to buy a general admission ticket - please don’t do this to yourself! You will be walking all day long (we did 32 kilometres on Saturday) just to find a place from where you won’t see anything because of the barriers. There’s not even a single bench where you can sit to take some rest. I mean people were laying on the dusty ground while waiting for the race to start. It’s good to mention that the whole forest was damaged by a storm, so it’s not pleasant at all! We can’t be more disappointed!

After reading reviews from last year regarding token system etc I was expecting the worst. However, it was a wonderful experience for someone who wasn’t a F1 fan (my husband is). There was no token system; you were able to bring in your own food & water; queues weren’t too bad; only used toilets in the Fanzone which were surprisingly better than expected for such an event. Only had general admission tickets but with a bit of a walk, we were able to find good viewing in a shaded area. Don’t know if I would have liked a seat in grandstand sitting in direct sunlight. Worst part of the whole experience was the hot sun & that is out of anyone’s control.
We were part of a tour with Travel Solutions. Would highly recommend as we were picked up & left off at venue with no problem - a walk of approx a mile or so to venue. Took a lot of hassle out of the whole travel arrangements.
All in all a wonderful experience at Monza F1.

We had tickets to stand 6 and thought the whole process was brilliant. Lots of people hanging out naps. Everything well signposted.

Yes there were queues for food and drink but that is to be expected. Considering it was very busy. We thought the staff were brilliant and helpful.

Great experience overall.

I don't understand why people say it was bad. I had general admission tickets and yes, it's true, I walked a lot on Friday to find a good place to watch the race. I found the back entrance where Saturday and Sunday was relatively free, I found people offering maps to people. queues for food and drink in the respective area were non-existent. on Friday and Saturday I found seats in the stands with a big screen, I came to the circuit earlier for that. On the day of the race, I arrived at the circuit at 9 o'clock and found, after searching for 10 minutes, 4 seats in the stands on the last row. Even if you come to the circuit earlier, you have something to do because there are F3, F2, Porsche Cup races. It was an indescribable cleaning, cleaning people passed by every 10 minutes and also picked up cigarettes from the floor, the bathrooms were sanitized several times a day. If you buy cheap tickets and expect everything to be offered to you on the tray at the entrance, it means that the problem is with you. Now I realize that I was scared for nothing reading the reviews from last year.

Awful in every respect apart from the world class drivers on display and a great race. If you are considering anything other than hospitality then don’t bother. 11.5 hours door to door from Bergamo, with all time spent in a queue, on a train/shuttle bus or hiking miles to our seats and back again.

There was a crush for the exit on Saturday and security preferred people to jump the fence than walk the 7 meters past a bollard in safety to end up in the same exact place. Idiots.

Food and drink ordering system is a complete and utter shambles, not enough toilets, Monza station is dreadful for trains and the shuttle bus queues are frankly ludicrous.

Having attended several GPs all over the world, this is the worst by far. You’d have thought after 70 years of racing at Monza, they’d know how to get it right, but it was as if a bunch of school kids organized it for a project.

F1, FIA should think long and hard about this track in the future. History shouldn’t trump safety.

We go to Grand Prix all over the world and this has to be the worst we have ever been too and left early on the Sunday as the Saturday had been a long walk and wait for shuttles and then trams, with massive queues that were not well organised with people pushing in for the buses, no security or very little. The signage is also bad with no maps handed out and no spaces for general admission, selling far too many tickets for the amount of areas. They were backing four and five deep so not even worth being there. On the Saturday we walked all the way round track looking for spaces and didn't find any without big crowds . The layout of the track does not lend itself for general admission as no banks for viewing. Will not return and we noticed lots leaving early and everyone saying how bad it was that we spoke too.

Absolutely waste of money. No viewing unless you pay top dollar. Rude security staff who were over the top with the public! After travelling from Australia what a waste of time and $$$ really disappointing g.

Absolutely sh##. It was the worst event i have ever been to. There was a token system that didn't work to the point it was dangerous as people didn't have access to water. They confescated all water and drinks at the gates and then f### it up to the point they must have missed out on millions of euros over the weekend by being unable to sell basic sustenance for an event. Crowded sh## hole. Never again.
