Come! Sail away with us on a memorable voyage. You will board our authentic Brigantine Thalassa at the picturesque old port of Fira.We will set sail for the small port of the volcano. When we arrive your guide will lead you up to the rim of the volcanic crater where smoke rises up and the stones are hot to the touch. Remember to bring good walking shoes and a hat to protect you from the sun.Leaving the volcano, our ship heads for the “hot springs”. There you can bathe in the warm waters (don’t forget your bathing suite and towel) . During the remainder of our voyage, we pass by Thirassia, where you have the chance to swim again in the blue crystal cleal waters while the captain and his crew prepare plenty of traditional Greek meze (appetizers) and you’ll have the chance to taste the renowned wine from Santorini. Next we come to the northern tip of Santorini and the town of Ia with its two small seaports Ammoudi and Armeni. From our sailing boat we have a unique vantage point for viewing the lovely traditional settlement of Ia. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then we will set the sails and head back to Fira enjoying the wine and live saxophone music as the sun magically sets into the sea.

Based on a recommendation from our Grand View hotel manager, we chose the Thalassa wooden sailing ship for a sunset/caldera boat tour. This left from the new/ferry port in the early afternoon, which wasn't far from our hotel in Megalochori. Hotel pickup was included in the price and they arrived at the time stated and took us back to our... More

My husband booked this as he thought that it would be more interesting and how right he was. I must admit I was a little dubious when we arrived at the old port but this was one of the best things that we did during our holiday. Christina and the crew were really good. The hike, and it is quite... More

We had the most incredible day out with Christina and the crew onboard Thalassa. We started by sailing out to the volcano and hiking up to the top. It was a very hot day but it was definitely worth the effort and sweat to take in the views, plus we followed it with a cool splash in the stunning blue... More

This was one of our favorite tours. We booked the sunset cruise. Our guide, Christina, and the rest of the crew were wonderful. We departed from the Old Port in the afternoon and arrived back after sunset. We hiked up the caldera, swam in the sulfur springs (life jackets are available) and had a great view of the sunset. The... More

Forget about all the catamaran cruises, they are so not worth it!! Experience Santorini on a tall ship, the Thalassa! We were so excited when we saw it approaching the port, it is really a majestic boat! We had so much space on board, not like other boats we saw where they there packed like sardines! Christina, our hostess was... More

We chose the afternoon sail to see the sunset on the Thallasia a neat sailing boat in the old style. Our first stop was the volcano and although a hot walk up worth it to see the different volcanic activity. Our guide was very knowledgeable about this and throughout the trip. We next sailed over to the thermal hot sprints... More

We took this cruise on my 50th birthday, we'd flown into Santorini the day before and my husband's luggage was lost & not found, so I wasn't in a good mood. This cruise alleviated ALL my woes!! Where do I start? The ship is an authentic, well maintained tall ship complete with a couple of cannons! We were transferred both... More

Christina and her team were amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Santorini and very funny! My bf and I did this tour on our first day In Santorini and we really had a great time! It's a must do! The boat is not packed so there's a lot of spaces compared to other boats. The food was... More
