It is the temple dedicated to the river Krishna. It is not frequented by most tourists, though it is less than 10 minutes away from the main mahabaleshwar temple. Must visit.

5 min walk opp. to mahabaleshwar temple ( old mahabaleshwar town) - this ancient ruin is located perfectly overlooking the Krishna river down the valley. Few visit this temple. There is a perfect view of valley and river from there.

In other countries, such a place would be maintained like a national treasure. Here there are some ASI boards, but it is not well maintained as it should. Ancient and small temple. Close to the old Mahableshwar township.
