Highly recommend a visit to this winery. Visited this winery in the late afternoon and we were met by a lovely host who was only too happy to go through their wines, explaining details about the origin of the grapes and the differences between the types. I did particularly enjoy the Taltarni Fume Blanc, a crisp white wine, perfect for... More

We dropped in to sample a wine or two. The staff was delightful, and the location was excellent. We ended up buying some wine, that is always a good sign form us.

Superb winery. Beautifully located in an elevated location with lovely gardens lining the road in. Hard to praise the winery and its staff member enough for a wonderful tasting here today. The wine is of a very high quality but generally very accessible and well priced. We bought several sparklings and reds and left extremely happy with the product and... More

We visited this winery today. The staff were very helpful disputed a large bus group being present. She suggested certain wines to taste. We left with a few bottles in the boot of our car. If visiting the Pyrenees a visit to Taltarni is recommended.

I have been visiting the Pyrennese wineries since the late 1970s and have seen Taltarni grow from a small boutique cellar door operation,to its present place and status as a leading producer of fine wines, both from the its vineyard here and those in the cooler climes of Tasmania, where they produce some of the best Australian sparkling wines. They... More

I have long been a fan of Taltarni red wines so visiting when in the region was a must. Very well presented cellar door and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good wine and worth the journey.

After sampling a bottle of Taltarni wine with our meal at the Rainbow Cafe & Restaurant we were keen to taste more so visited the vineyard where we met with a very informative person who spent time telling us about each of the wines. We were so impressed that we purchased some. Drawback for some would be the $5 cover... More

We traveled to the vineyard with family as I have tasted their wine previously and it was only an hour drive from our accommodation. They make a beautiful Rose' and Shiraz. Staff were more than helpful and friendly. Very clean and lovely gardens. Has a good vibe and a great place to relax and enjoy a wine. Will definitely go... More
