Come for the RED and stay for the bread
Sep. 2021
Although we had been encouraged to go in good time to get the bread accompaniment to the wine, we bought bread on arrival and then, were served bread during our tasting. Perhaps buy the bread after if you so choose?
The red wines were beautiful and rich in flavour. Would recommend. If you are sharing the tasting they tend to be small.

Thank you!

Well we have visited this winery a few times and whether we come for the bread or the wine it is always excellent. Today, though, it was extra special, we met Murray. We met Murray when I had a flat tire on my bicycle. Murray was kind enough to find his air pump to pump the tire, but when the air immediately leaked out, Murray was there with a replacement tube and tools to replace that tube. Murray, today you were my hero and all you asked in return was a big smile, well here it is 🥰.

Great bread and decent cheese
Jul. 2021 • Couples
This place is a great concept...fresh bread with local cheese and a glass of wine. We tried a couple of breads (chocolate with strawberry balsamic vinegar was f great) and cheeses. Breads were better than cheeses, but worth the visit! Lots of incredible wineries in either side of this place. Enjoy!

Excellent Bread, wine good, atmosphere bad
Jun. 2021
We had heard about the outstanding bread and wine pairing. The Bakery was indeed exceptional and wine very good.
However, there was heavy machinery operating the whole time we were there, and the tasting tent set up right beside?? Your in a gravel driveway with Canadian Tire tents above.
Very poor ambience.
I couldn’t hear a word she said the whole time.
We bought wine and bread and felt our tasting fees should have been waved due to the terrible ambience.
I would not return, with so many other options for wine tasting in this beautiful region of BC.
The bread however is worth a quick stop.

Platinum Bench is a Hidden Gem
Sep. 2020 • Family
Platinum Bench is a hidden gem! It is the most memorable stop from 2 trips to the Okanagan! The bread is amazing and the wine is very good, we purchased the Cab Franc and it was delicious! If you get Bernie it will take your experience to the next level. The covid restrictions have adapted the tasting to being in the vineyards with a beautiful view! All around a great experience and out favourite winery from our trip!

Bread lady at check out ruined it
Sep. 2020 • Friends
We were on a wine tour with 2 other couples, wine and bread pairings were fabulous, as was most of the experience. Only giving 3 stars because of the poor customer service while buying bread and wine at the end of our tasting. The lady working the register for both bread and wine is super aggressive and rude. After our tasting I couldn't remember the name of all the wines we had just tried, so I asked if she had a the list of wines we just tried, she rudely said "I have no idea what you had you need to tell me" instead of being helpful and asking her
coworker who did our tasting. I
honestly would have bought more wine and bread but she was so rude and made me feel rushed so I left only buying 1 bottle of wine and 1 loaf of bread. She actually left the till while I was paying to yell at different people
about where to park and what they were allowed to put in the garbage. Super aggressive and actually ruined the experience. If not for her, I would have given 5 stars and bought 5 times what I did!

One of a Kind

Friendly throughout visit... greeted us when we arrived, shared background of winery and bakery - delicious wine and bread pairing outdoors. Highlight of our day! Highly recommend. Get there early )before 11:15am) if you want to purchase bread on its own otherwise just bread tasting with the wine.

Great wine, even better bread!
Aug. 2020 • Friends
This was our last stop on our wine tour and would 10/10 recommend. Both staff and guests were well protected during the tasting with safety precautions in place. The bread pairings were the best part! Wine was great, some of my favourites . Make sure to go first if you want to guarantee buying a loaf to take home!! Staff were very friendly and efficient. Add this to your wine touring stops, it won’t disappoint :)

Great personality’s and great people...picked up 4 bottles of wine and a loaf of each bread...delicious...if they were to add vinegar tomato’s and feta cheese I would think this were heaven...definetly a must stop...for me to talk about it is one thing - it to stop and experience it was amazing !

Good Covid Policy, not enough staff
Jul. 2020 • Friends
So we visited Platinum Bench on 2020.07.19. This was not our fist visit to this winery, but the first time since Covid. They had a host greet people and to take pictures of ID for contact tracing, there was a waiting area for people who didn't have reservations and lots of hand sanitizer stations. Tasting areas were outside with gazebo type structures providing shade and lot of space between. There was a separate area for purchasing once your tasting was done. The idea was excellent. The execution was awful. There was 6 tasting stations but only one lady to pour and explain the wines and serve the breads. The place was absolutely packed. Parking lot full, cars on the side of the road and this one poor lady trying to serve everyone. Meanwhile the people running the purchasing station had their hands full with credit card machines that couldn't connect to the wifi. The owner was wandering around doing some random pouring and explaining but being old school not maintaining any social distancing, and seemed more interestedin random chat with old friends who swung by. The wine was pretty good, and the fresh bread was amazing but the overall execution of the covid plan was an F. Maybe they can work out the plan better in the future but for now I say pass.
