Very nice garden in a beautiful location beside Slocan Lake. No entry fee. Some interesting trees and plants. Japanese in style. Located about 2 blocks (an easy walk) from the Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre. Lovely.

Location of this small meandering Japanese Garden is outstanding overlooking the southern view of the Slocan Lake in New Denver BC. Maintained beautifully by volunteer help.

This garden which is located next to Slocan Lake commemorates the Japanese people who were placed in a internment camp during WW2. Beautifully laid out garden with several water features maintained by a team of volunteers.

We visited the Kohan Reflection Garden after visiting the Nikkei Memorial Internment Centre. A beautiful, peaceful spot on the shores of Slocan Lake, lovingly tended by volunteers, that offered us the time and space to, yes, reflect.

A restful Japanese type garden with lots of trees and shrubs, native and imported, with ponds and running water. A nice beach view. Next to the town campground. Great place to take a break.
