We ventured down to Neists Point in our Camper Van, which was slightly hairy in places, especially when meeting other cars and definitely not for the fainthearted. The views from the Car Park at the top were spectacular and even better on a fine sunny...More

We visited this place in december. The foothpath to the lighthouse was very slippery/frozen. The scenery here is nice, worth visiting.

We hiked to the top of the hill, which looked down over spectacular cliffs and a great view of the lighthouse. Then we hiked out the lighthouse itself. The hikes were moderately strenuous but well worth the effort. (Watch out for sheep droppings along the...More

The walk to the light house was great. Down the stairs and walk towards the light house. When we were there, it was very windy and we cannot walk properly. You can see many sheeps along the way and somehow their droppings were all over...More

Beware if heading here in a small car or potentially anything other than a 4x4. Drive here is very long, windy and steep with massive potholes in the road. There were blind summits in my car and I am grateful there weren’t many other cars...More

No public transport available, narrow single track roads. We saw a vwcamper in a ditch on the way back, roads definitely not for inexperienced drivers. The tourist office in Portree will probably be able to suggest some sort... More
