Difficult to find the car park - signage not great. Lovely walk - disappointed to find circular walk no longer available due to major storm damage - you can walk above the gorge but can't really get very far down in the gorge - we...More

For this walk you will need good walking shoes and the right clothes! Its often cold in the forest and wet so don't be fooled if the weather appears to be warm. You will need to be steady on your feet. I would not recommend...More

It's clear from previous reviews that this used to be worth visiting. It's hard to imagine though as the half hour trail took us not much more than 10 minutes and we didn't bother with the other trail as the viewpoint looks into the gorge...More

Sadly this walk has been completely ruined by many fallen trees and a landslide after storm damage. Still a lovely spot for a picnic and paddle in the river but not what it used to be. A real shame.

Read nice things about this walk, but having travelled many miles to get there, were disappointed to find it was closed for repair works due to ealier storm damage. We foolishly did not consider or think to check that it may be closed. So just...More

Had a fantastic walk round the Gorge. The dog loved playing in the river and the scenery was beautiful!

The walk itself is fairly gentle for most of it, one or two inclines/declines, but with steps built where its most narrow. Only had to keep a hold of the 3 year old at these points, but the 4.5 year old was fine. The gorge...More
