Great range of plays

A terrific range of plays on offer and for the most part, excellent acting. Affordable and a good bar. Front of house are always very friendly and accommodating.

I believe all productions are done by volunteers but the quality is really top class. Don't think there is anything little about the performance it's only the lovely venue that's small. A really great feel, very personal and great views. There is a small bar that you can use during the interval. Across usually come out at the end and... More

The intimate feel of this little theatre, is much like that when visiting relations you like, but don’t know very well. They all seem to be friends or family with a smarting of public and at just over a 100 seats the whole atmosphere is very close. The seating (in places a touch worn), and a little temperamental was creaking... More

I have seen several performances and it has been excellent. It's really tiny inside but very personal. There is a bar at the interval and very friendly professional staff.

Have always enjoyed the shows at this theatre. A very professional group of actors, lovely little theatre with real atmosphere. A hidden gem in the Medway towns.

We have been to many productions over several years and this is our first review. We love Medway Little Theatre and this is amateur dramatics at its best. The standard of the acting is always superb and the actors clearly enjoy what they are doing. It seats around 90 people and because it is small and welcoming it feels a... More

We saw the play last might(fri 20th mar). Theatre itself is small (100 odd seats) with a small bar on the left. Very friendly and with it being quite small, very intimate. The play was fantastic. Bearing in mind this was an amateur dramatic society play. All the characters were great, couple of dodgy Irish accents mind (Public Gars drunken... More

The Medway Little Theatre is full of character and a lovely little theatre with the traditional uncomfortable seats to watch a performance. Don't nip to the toilet during the show the whole theatre has full on creaking. A lovely theatre experience.

By chance, during our visit to Rochester, we stumbled upon this little theatre and the fact that there were to be performed three one act plays by the young theatre workshops of the Medway. The plays were to be judged by an expert in their field. The professionalism and enthusiasm of the players left the audience enthralled. The judging was... More
