We visited on a sunny day in the Easter holidays. It was wonderful to spend time on a clean beach and have a lengthy walk. Shops are good quality and there's plenty for people of all ages to enjoy.

Does get busy in high season. We love it in Winter. Dogs welcome most of the year ( restrictions in high season to before 900 and after 6.00)

This really is a picture postcard sandy beach bay. You can walk along the beach or walk way above it on the promenade. Ideal for relaxing and with shallow water for the children. Good amenities to the beach also.

a nice sandy beach deckchairs available to hire , places to buy drinks and food near by. Nice pier with stalls to browse. A few good pubs and resturants which get very busy in summer. An easy drive from London.

This is a beautiful sandy bay with a paddling pool at low tide and rocks to look for little creatures. An unspoiled gen on the Kent coast.
