We visited on New Year’s Eve. We spent about 30 minutes in the aquarium and hologram hall. The Koi carp are fun but the fee is a bit steep given what there is to see. The six year old thought it was interesting and enjoyed...More

the swimming pool is naturally fed by a thermal spring? nice- but filling it with fish and charging the public to see it is just odd? Big fish, small tanks, maybe fill half an hour while your fish n chips go down, holograms are 30+...More

This was a good use of the old building that had been a Spa in the past.It wasn't massive, but big enough for a quick look at sealife. There was no where to park, but that is a problem in Matlock because of the landscape and popularity.

Visited the aquarium and hologram exhibit. Very good value for money and a good hour spent walking round. Some of the holograms were amazing.

This isn't your Sea Life aquarium so if you're expecting that then you'll be dissapointed. However, it is a great little place to take the kids - I went with the neice. Lots to look at and plenty to learn. They even have a big...More
