Had a great time the museum was very informative and the trip down the mine was very good. The boys enjoyed panning for gold.

We visited the Peak District Mining Museum and booked onto the tour of Temple Lead Mine. Note they only runs tours twice a day so ring up and book a place in advance. The tour lasts around 40 minutes. Temple Mine is not the largest...More

There is a museum and mine tour. The mine tour only happens twice a day. Claire was our tour guide and she was very helpful and amusing.More

Quite quick, but as part of the day out at HOFAB it's good fun, and as it's not too lengthy so suitable for toddlers.

Thank you for leaving this review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit. We recommend that people allow at least an hour for the museum and another hour for the mine tour. There is plenty to entertain children and adults of all ages!
