Beautiful circular walk around Matlock Bath. We followed a route using the Map Kamoot. Easy to follow and the views are a plenty. Passing the visitors centre and quarry. Past the river and great Matlock bath hotel. Finished off with a walk across the famous giddy edge.

This shop had everything i needed to continue enjoying Matlock with my children on a drizzly day out , as usual had forgotton a few vital wet weather essentials ! thankyou Christine for great customer service and good advise about local attractions . Well worth a visit , lovely shop.…

We arrived in Matlock Bath needing some information about walking tracks and activities in the area and found that a massive problem - until we found Christine in High Tor Outdoors. She provided maps, ideas about walks, recommended pubs around and about and was so friendly and helpful. Her husband (Mark?) has mountain biked extensively and has maps and trails that are available too. If you need outdoor gear and local advice about activities and ideas, don't look any further!…

I'd not been to Matlock Bath for a while and it was great to see a new independent shop selling something other than chips & sweets ( I do like chips & sweets ), they sold quite a diverse range of activity wear, cycling, kayaking, and outdoor maternity wear... as well as the usual walking gear. Upstairs had the camping gear with some great tents on display, one was a watermelon... I will definitely be going back. …
