We visited 6 wineries during our visit to Tuscany and at each one of the tours we heard praise for how banfi has opened the world to Tuscan wines. The largest wine estate in Tuscany is now redefining wine making and marketing. Great tour of...More

First, the drive to Poggio Alle Mura is one breathtakingly beautiful panorama after another---all what one imagines perfect Tuscan scenery to be. The Castello itself has a history dating from the 9th Century and now thoroughly renovated is a centerpiece of extended vineyards and columns...More

We enjoyed the tour and tasting. The operation is very large which takes away from much of the charm that you see in other places in Tuscany. The wine tasting was nice but these wines are all distributed in the US. We really enjoyed the...More

The castle was breath taking and getting to see the many different wines and tasting a few of them topped the whole experience off!

I was invited to the Castello Banfi because of a CLANTE dinner and wine tasting. What an incredible experience to see the grounds, visit the wineries and enjoy a magnificent evening of dining. I'd go out of my way to return to this area.

Beautiful place to visit. All the area is full of wineries but this one is absolutely the best. Their Brunnello is fantastic but quite expensive. There are a lot of level of Brunnello and other wines, for every pocket.

We expected this to be good and last a couple hours.....a couple turned into more than five and worth it. While a big volume place, Banfi does it with quality, and their best wines are really good. The winery operation is massive. Lunch in the...More
