Spent the majority of the day here (got on the bus from Fira bus station for 2,40 euros, driving told you when at each stop). Beautiful beach, quiet and lots of nice cafes offering food, drink, wifi and sun loungers while you took in the breath taking sights.

The beach is nice, the sand is strange, but I guess it is normal for a volcanic island. I liked the beach.

Nice little town and grey few restaurants there and nice little town. Water is little warm but it was a black sand and that's why it's called black Beach lol.

In march, everything was perfect. No people, clean sea, nice weather and view on rocky mountain under the Ancient Thera. Summer has to be different.

A real gem of a place. Packed with lovely bars and restaurants offering fresh fish and greek salads. A nice ambience on an evening where gents wear tailored shorts and ladies in their summer dresses. No "chavs" in sight! Such a relaxing place and if you hire a car it makes a great base for trips out to Oia and... More

This is a black sand beach, very easy to get to. Lots of eateries, good resorts, lots of sun chairs. Suitable for families with kids to play, relax and swim. More Suitable for bathing than the red beach.

I enjoyed Perissa Beach. As a solo traveler, sometimes I would feel overwhelmed by crowds. Perissa offers the relaxation portion of Santorini. While Oia has the shopping variety of high end retail and boutiques, Fira offers the restaurant and nightlife scene. Perissa is at the other end of the island, away from the madness, but with one bus ride into... More
