Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did two tours during our stay in Santorini:

One was Wanderlust with Lydia. We got to see Pyrgos & Megalochori. During our tour, we got to learn about the architecture, the castles, the palaces, and did wine tasting. We stopped at Gavals and Venetsanos wineries. Lydia was very kind and informative with everything. Overall a great experience. We stayed in Imerovigli. There we were picked up and dropped off.

The second tour was the Hidden Treasures tour with Eleni. Here we toured Oia and Finikia where we ended our tour with a wine tasting at Domaine Sigalas. Eleni did a great job showing us various parts of Oia that one wouldn't typically see alone. Eleni was very informative and friendly!

Both tours are highly recommended as you would not get that type of information and curated site seeing on your own.

Also - shout out to Kostas who was our driver multiple times - he was a great driver, a very clean and new car, and very friendly!

We joined the Wanderlust Walking tour last week and had a fantastic experience. Our knowledgeable guide, Lydia, navigated our little group through old villages and vineyards, ending at the Gavalas Winery. I loved every aspect of this fun, educational tour!

We had a great experience with Eleni for our Fira to Oia hike - she was prepared and knowledgeable about the island's history. Would recommend!

We loved this tour and George was awesome guide!!! Warning: it is a bit of a hike so be prepared. You need to be used to walking; have comfortable walking shoes; and be sure to bring water. We started in Fira and hiked/walked along the Caldera to Oia. It was the definite highlight of our stay in Santorini. 2nd warning: Oia, while definitely scenic, is way toursity and crowded.

We took two walking tours over two days with “Santorini Walking Tours” and Nikos, the owner, and Georgina, our guide, were simply outstanding! The tours were fun, interesting, and educational.

Georgina shared stories both big and small, of Santorini’s history, geography and archeology alongside inside stories of the local people of Santorini she’d interviewed. She is far and away the best tour guide we’ve ever had! Deeply insightful, well-researched, enthusiastic, engaging and funny.

Nikos is amazingly accommodating and goes the extra mile. He organized a wonderful beer tasting session on the fly at the end of our 2nd day when we asked about it, even though it was no longer included in the tour.

If you wanna get to know Santorini beyond white buildings and blue skies, Santorini Walking Tours is an absolutely must! You will get your fix, and more.

Georgina was an absolutely brilliant guide for our tour. We were picked up by taxi and then started at Pyrgos, making our way to Megalochori. Georgina was brilliant at answering our questions and leading a super interesting and engaging tour. We learnt loads, historical/cultural/folklore/geological. We then went for a wine tasting at Gavalas winery which was superb. 6 wines to try and an excellent guide leading us through these. Lovely setting and great wines! Thank you Georgina!! Could not recommend a better half day activity

We had a private caldera tour from Fira to Oia with Georgina, and it was a wonderful way to experience Santorini and its extraordinary beauty and history. Georgina was a smart, charming and highly knowledgeable guide who managed to keep the tour exciting and interesting for the middle-aged folks as well as the two teenagers, both of whom adored her. A five-hour tour went by in what seemed like minutes. Highest possible recommendation.

We booked a hike from Thira to Oia and it was exactly what we asked for and more. We wanted a guide who could talk to us about the geography and geology of the island and Alex was an absolutely brilliant guide. Entertaining and informative it was a perfect
morning topped off by a delicious authentic Greek lunch. The scenery on the way is absolutely stunning and a brilliant way to see and learn about a part of this beautiful island. I will definitely

We did a private walking tour from Thera to Oia, finishing with a 2-course lunch with wine. It was a great experience. Our guide, Georgina, was absolutely brilliant. She taught us a lot about Santorini - the history, the people, the culture - and she took us to many great spots for photos along the way. The walk itself was around 10km, so make sure you have a good pair of trainers on! Would highly recommend.
