This is a small waterfall, with a little bit of a hike up the mountain. The oranges are yumm, you will go by some hieroglyphics which are beautiful. Then you will come to this waterfall, water shoes in the pond would be nice lots of leaves and rocks on the bottom. Beautifully refreshing, worth the trip.

I've stayed in Anton several and just revisited these falls but opted out of the zip-line this time. The trail is short but absolutely beautiful. Not too strenuous and (unnecessary walking sticks available) you get great views of the falls from the trail. There is a cover charge of 5 dollars. The land was donated to the local community and... Not for the physically challenged but if you don't mind a bumpy ride through the jungle to see a breathtaking falls, with magnificent vista along the way, this is well worth the trip. Yes, swimming is allowed in the pool at the base of the falls. It's a WOW!

It's nice on your way down from La India Dormida, but it is NOT a destination. There are other Mountain Tour companies that can get you much better and more secluded falls off the beaten path.

This is located near the town center of El Valle De Anton, a lovely town in the hills of Panama. El Valle is extremely busy on the weekends. Many Panamanians have weekend homes here. A week day visit will be less crowded. The site is a small lovely waterfall with a small pond for swimming. There are locals selling goods... More

$2 fee to get in. On the way to the waterfall people had bags of tangerines for sale for $1. We bought some and a tasty treat while watching the falls. My daughter had so much fun swimming and jumping from the top of the fall into the pool below. Worth the visit.

First, go through town well past the central market and follow the signs left to the petroglyphs, and santa Cruz shrine. Just before the shrine you will see the sidewalk entrance on your left, probably with some vendors. Pay your $2.25 entry fee and follow the trail past several waterfalls. Nothing Hawaii or New Zealand stunning, but a pretty uphill... More
