Loved these caves the best. Tour guide was awesome and knowledgeable. Was patient with us when we stopped to take photos. Amazing history. Will definitely go back for another visit some day. Don't miss this cave when visiting Waitomo!

Interesting bush walk to get there. Dry cave so no glowworms. Well lit with loads of amazing rock formations and chance to take all the photos you want. Excellent guide. Recommended trip.

Loved Aranui Cave. Lovely walk to the cave and inside was different to the other two caves near by. The tour guide was great and informative

If you're visiting Waitomo to see the glow worm caves, the Aranui cave is worth seeing too. It's particularly spectacular and has an incredibly high "ceiling". The tour takes around an hour. I'd recommend the 3 cave tour ticket if you have time. We did...More

The best part about this cave was the walk though the bush and entering in the side of the hill. This made it a much more natural feel. Although inside is fully boardwalked and concrete so not as good.
