Calling not in on the way to the waitomo caves, we had a bagel snack which was melt in the mouth delicious and a gluten free option was available. The staff were welcoming and chatty. The interior was very quirky but typical of the area.

Not sure what to expect when we went. Lots of locals having drinks and the staff were more than happy looking after our family of 5. Meals are pretty simple but good and overall good value. Got very busy at by the end.

I so enjoyed the delicious home made soup with garlic bread and a glass of NZ Sav Blanc. I had been eating pies and sandwiches for lunch as my budget dictated and it was do nice to have an affordable delicious healthy alternative. Thank you.

Great food and great beer. We had Moroccan rubbed lamb and a lamb and broccoli Asian salad which were both great. I can see why this is number 1 on TripAdvisor.
