My partner and I enjoyed this incredible experience of floating through the Ruakuri cave. The tour was efficient, safe and informative every step of the way. The tour did involve exploring some small quarters as well as jumping off waterfalls so be prepared!

The glow worm caves are truly stunning. Despite the surrounding buzz of tourism, the sights did not disappoint. Highly recommend seeing them through an activity based tour at Black Water Rafting Co rather than simply walking the underground bridges. Guides were great, friendly and knowledgeable....More

Throughout our 10 days in New Zealand, this was by far the highlight. Our guides, Pip and Koon, were hilarious and entertaining the whole time. They did a great job at explaining everything as we went through the caves. The abseiling, flying fox and waterfalls...More

Great staff in all areas. The Ruakuri walk we talk was unbelievable. An easyish walk for most levels of fitness. We even had a guy on crutches. Really informative guided tour. Absolutely recommend.

Have we seen you before Deb C? You must have done a couple of tours, as this review sounds more like Ruakuri Cave, not black water rafting, guy on crutches being the giveaway... Thanks Logan

Cory and Koen again! Thanks for the review, eatingspinach. Shame you got a cold - it can be tough looking after yourself while travelling. Yes the water is cold, but how cold is relative. It is currently 14.6°C, which some would consider comfortable, so it...More

I first want to say that I had fun overall, but a few things knocked my review down to very good rather than excellent. I want to start with the good stuff and acknowledge Corey & Coon for being very professional, outgoing, and fun. As...More

Thanks the review Dave and well done for setting yourself a challenge! Good to know Cory and Koen are on form. We'll take your points on board about the back tracking and photos, though both are very subjective (as is Trip Advisor!) The "backtracking" is...More

I've done this tour twice now. This time around I went with my partner. Our guides, Emma and Agla, were fantastic. Our group was small so we had more time to muck about taking photos in the caves. As I remembered, the glow worms were...More
