Wife and I took our 2 teenagers and 11 year old on a cave adventure. Robin, our guide, was informative, friendly, and a lot of fun. Front office was very friendly and obliging as well. Minimal walking required. Every one of us had a fantastic time. Water was quite chilly but very bearable with provided gear. Free pictures taken by... More

As a fairly unfit but reasonably adventurous 60 year old I thought this might be too hard/scary for me but the guides were superb and very encouraging. This trip is a must for anyone who isn't frightened of water. Loved the gentle ride through the glow worms and the fun of the waterfall and slide.

This was my first visit to the Glowworm caves, I had a ticket for the afternoon tour but the receptionist and owner suggested I take a few walks around Waitomo and come back for the evening tour since there were fewer people. It was fantastic! I will not give away what we saw but this tour is exceptional at night.... More

This is my second trip doing the caving at Waitomo, but my first with Caveworld and I can highly recommend it for those looking for a bit more adventure than the regular cave tours. I did the "Tube It" tour with a group of friends and loved it. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The pathway through the caves... More

We took the "tube it" it combines glow worms (must see) and black water rafting (must do) with a couple of jumps. 2.5 hrs activity with lot of fun. You have to do it to believe it. Probably it the shortest and least strenuous of all the black water rafting + glow worm experiences available. So specially bcoz we had... More

We were a family with differing fears of dark, water, closed spaces and the ilk. There was a12 year old as well. So we wanted an activity that was adventurous but still doable by all and of course we wanted to glimpse the glow worms!! Caveworld was the absolute right mix! Decently strenuous, but not too cramped that you have... More

So many stairs to get down there, very pretty location. The guide was local, very nice young lady, took some photos for us. The tube in the cave looked better than our walking tour.

I am a kiwi who took my Argentinian friend to waitomo. I have been black water rafting a few times and this was by far the most memorable experience. We were in a group with 4 people in their 60-70s - which didn't affect our trip at all. Everyone left feeling like they had had a trip of a lifetime.... More

This is an out of the world experience; to float in the wonderland of stalactites and stalagmites; where the glow worms twinkle and delight you hour by hour. Visit the Caves Souvenir shop where there are trinkets to buy,and story books for little children.
