Well worth a visit on the way south
May 2021
Mogo is a small zoo by big city standards however after seeing the devastating fires of late 2019 and the efforts of the staff to save the animals we jut had to drop in on our way south.
yes it is a bit pricey, but if you have a NSW discover voucher there is only a small cash top-up needed. Can understand the need to charge as feeding the animals would be hugely expensive.

There are some good displays of large animals including Sumatran tigers, rare white lions/lionesses, zebra, giraffe, and rhino. Lots of smaller mammals with the highlight being the mercats, monkeys and gorillas.

We spent and hour and a half which was enough to get around all the exhibits which interested us

Simply a must visit while on South Coast
Apr. 2021 • Couples
After watching the bushfires ravaging the South Coast in 2019 and reports of the heroic efforts staff and volunteers in fighting the blaze risking their lives - decided to visit at 1st opportunity.

The presentation is so natural and thoughtfully organised blending with the natural landscape.

We really enjoyed the experience seeing some animals that are in decline in their natural environment.

Really enjoyable.
May 2021
Just visited for the first time on a beautiful Autumn day, spent over 2 hours and really enjoyed the experience. The new owners have had a baptism of fire literally, taking over in November 2019, with the bushfires, Covid19 and then the floods.
My friends commented that there had been lots of improvements since they last visited. I couldn't get over how healthy the animals were, they are a credit to the staff. The exhibits of the cheetah, lions, giraffes, zebra's and rhino's were equal to seeing them in the wild, on a safari in South Africa.

Fantastic experience well worth the visit.
Car parking was easy as there’s plenty. The Zoo has many many great animals we spent 2hrs there could’ve spent a lot longer looking at the Gorillas, Giraffes, Rinos,Lions or Tiger etc.
Cafe has great food reasonable price inside the facility so you can eat lunch and continue looking if you wish. I’ll be going back in the future :)

Very Enjoyable
May 2021
It has been around 6 or 7 Years since our last visit and as it was my Wife's Birthday she said she would like to go . We are both Animal Lovers and Mogo Zoo is quite a special place , It is Not huge but they do a lot to help Endangered Species . We did notice a number of Changes since our last Visit which have greatly improved the Zoo . They are constantly improving things . There is a Cafe area with Hot & Cold Food & Drinks , and a Gift Shop which we found quite expensive . They have quite a number of Animal Encounters where you can Feed the Animals . However the Animal Information Talks are suspended at the moment due to Covid . We thoroughly enjoyed our visit .

Two hours viewing Mogo Zoo exhibits
Apr. 2021
We recently visited Mogo Zoo and spent around 2 hours viewing the animal exhibits. Some of the exhibits are hard to see the animals because of the proximity of the areas they are in. The highlights of our visit were the giraffe and the super cute otters. They kept us entertained while we were viewing them. We thought that some maintenance could be needed in some of the paved walkways of the zoo as they are uneven and a trip hazard in some areas. Also, some potholes with water could be attended to.

Interesting
Apr. 2021
Took our 7yo granddaughter for a visit. A few problems initially- parking is a nightmare, simply not enough, entry queues seemed endless, however once we were in, it was a great visit. Some exhibits were closed for renovations, but there was more than enough to keep the youngun entranced. She especially loved the meercats, deer and giraffes. We felt the the signage could be improved, particularly the exit signs. Forget eating there, the line up for service was extensive. Souvenier shop was a bit expensive, but that is how the pay to keep the place running. All over, an interesting morning

Perfect for a family day with the Grand-kids (1 to 16)
Apr. 2021
Each time we visit Batemans Bay for a short break, Mogo Zoo is a must visit. While not a large Zoo, it is big enough to keep the Grandchildren amused for a good 2+ hours as they run around exploring and photographing. It is also a very easy walk around for the Kid's and oldies. Great also to see the Giraffe herd expanding with the latest addition chilling in the grass.
The variety of animals is just fine as it enables the visitor the time and un-fussed ability to relax, view and enjoy each exhibit at your own pace or theirs.

Stunning!

Great zoo, there is a good variety of animals, and great walking tracks around the park. We had teenagers and little ones and they all enjoyed it.
The zoo has been well maintained and the staff were super friendly
Would definitely recommend the trip.
