Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For me, Praia do Leao is besides Baia do Sancho one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Crystal clear water, calm, clean, nature!

Take the bus to Sueste to the final station, from there it is a approx. 15 minute walk to the beach. Carry water and everything you need as there is no infrastructure. No shadow, so take care with the sun while enjoying the stuning scenery )

Leao beach is very beautiful and it is perfect to walk around. It is not recommended to swim as the currents are very strong, but is very nice to enjoy the sun and the view.

This beach is perfect for picture like post card, crystal turquoise water, where you can spot turtle and shark.

The beach is beautiful. Due to the distance from the village, it was great for having fun, without too many people around. But now, it is part of the Marine Park… You need to pay a fee to enter, you can no longer go down carrying alcohol, they complicate access by talking about sharks in the water and turtle eggs on the beach… The time has passed when the only complication was the strong currents , being out at sea…

One of the most beatiful beaches from the open ocean side of the island. The access is through the ICMbio gate and you have to go down the starts.
The swimming is difficult as many danger currents and the local guides will try to pwrsuade you not to enter the water.
The view is beatiful and worse the visit.

Water is too rough for swimming. Nice photo location. Need a ride, Although only 30 min walk from Pria do Sueste, it's tough in the sun.

A beautiful and secluded beach which I’ve heard is often closed for visitors due to turtles coming out of the ocean to lay their eggs in February. We were there in Feb and saw fresh tracks on the sand left from a sea turtle. It is amazingly quiet and the rocks in the shallow form natural pools. I enjoyed it equally as much as Praia do Sancho. Didn’t experience any access issues as other reviewers have mentioned.

Beautiful and quiet beach. No restaurants, no shade, just the perfect beach. You´d better take an umbrella and some snack to enjoy your day there.

The beach is beatiful, you can see the blue water and the rocky formation, also is a beach where turtles put their eggs.
The sea is very strong and dangerous,so swimming is not allowed, you can only go to water on knees.

Lion Beach is about a km walk from PIC Sueste. Yet another amazing beach in Noronha. We got there at the end of the day and it was literally empty.
