Rua Bróduei and Mucugê is an open air mall, restaurants and shops share space and come in all shapes and styles.
Details in each look, colors, culture, picanha on the plate, seafood pan, cocoa, souvenirs. Variety for all tastes.
The most expensive and sophisticated restaurants are on Rua Mucuge.

Fun street

We went to Mucugê St. on the first day of our stay. It is a lively street, with plenty of stores, bars and restaurants. We will certainly be back before the trip is over.

A great walk for the evening or nightout. There are many shops, different restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes for all tastes and, off course, great music every night.

Very touristy area, with a lot of restaurants and clothing stores. Animated and quite pleasant to visit. Food generally good and very affordable. Can be crowded at times.

very nice place
Oct. 2019

Beautiful place with wonderful restaurants like La Portinha, clean, decorated, organized and safe city, live music at night, makes everything very romantic ,very different from Porto Seguro which is dirty and abandoned by the city.
The mucuge beach is also very beautiful with very blue waters.

Cool open area, live music, several small restaurants...

The street runs about 1 mile end to end. It is shut down at night to accomadate the foot traffic, vendors and artists. The little alley ways on either side are great to explore. You find treasured little barzinhos (small bars), restaurants and shops. There is a pizza place that has been there since the last time we visited. The Best Pizza I have had in Brazil.

Very safe area. No nonsense. Cobblestone streets. It's like a small but cooler version of Key West, Florida with a great charm.

Arraial is an upscale area on the peninsula, prices are mid-range. Cost us about $40US for 7 Draft beers and 4 apps. A short ferry ride with or without car from Porto Seguro, but a long walk for the port by foot. Taxi and or Uber if you do not bring a car.
