YOU CAN ACTUALLY CLIMB THESE! Bring a hat but you can climb these. There is very little shade but they sell water. The climb isn't steep but what a view. You can enter the ruins... it was AWESOME!

Uxmal is a fantastic ancient mayan city thats just a short drive away from Merida or campeche. It is an absolute must if you're in the area.

Uxmal is as good as chichen-Itza! A little further out of the way, but spend a day in Merida - it’s a wonderful city.
