We wanted to avoid the crowds at the more popular beaches so we picked this one. It was perfect. During the day at peak season there are lifeguards, and they have washrooms, showers, and changing rooms. At low tide you can walk pretty far out....More

Nice beach with a lifeguard and great views of the Confederation Bridge. In mid July we swam here when there were too many jellies on the north coast. It was also nice for poking around at low tide.

We really enjoyed our afternoon at this beach. It was not very busy. It is south-facing and as a result, very enjoyable if you like the sun. We only saw a few jellyfish and a few hermit crabs. The water was very clear and the...More

This beach is not well-known, so it's not very busy. The is host to crabs, and snails, so the kids and grownups had fun watching the wildlife. There are also different birds (sandpiper?) that pop around in the sand. We would recommend this park, but...More

We spent several days at this beach. Free, not crowded, and good forge kids. Really fun when the tide goes out. There was no odour unlike other free beaches. Lots of hermit crabs and snails to keep the kids busy. Would recommend it to others.

Dirty and smelly. Had to wade through about 25 feet of smelly gross seaweed and dead fish to get to where the tide went out. No dry sand. "Lifeguard" was lying on the sand/grass at the back nowhere near the water "sunbathing". Yes that's right....More

Warm water, protected (not as windy as north side of island), crabs and hermit crabs and snails to chase, nice sand...this was lovely!

Nice spacious park, ON the beach! Though it shows its age, it is well maintained and, as expected, the island people are accomodating and so polite. The beach is supervised and at low tide, you can actually walk to the boyeys and the dunes go...More

Just stopped by on the way to get coffee one morning, have been frequenting a less public beach towards the bridge. This beach offers plenty of parking, washroom facilities, life guard, and play area off the beach to keep younger children busy all day.

Washrooms/changerooms were disgusting and not well kept. The beach was just okay and very rocky. Life guards were friendly.
