A bit off the beaten track and oh my god is it worth the effort. Only a tiny sign posted on a telegraph pole pointing off the main road. Follow the road right to the end. The beach is down a well maintained but long...More

This is the most beautiful place I’ve seen!!! So quiet and tranquil! Perfect place to sunbathe! Hardly anyone visits here as there are no toilets, sun beds, bar or restaurant but don’t let that stop you! Take your own food and water. There is a...More

First visit to the Caribbean and i wanted to find THE beach. Well this is it!! Perfect, water, sand, palm trees. There are beach vendors but they are polite lads just doing a job, absolutely no hassle and what a workplace. Loved it.

Bottoms bay is my favorite beach in Barbados. The view from up top where you park is priceless. If you walk to the right of the beach, you can see some massive waves crashing into the land and natural hole formations.

It definitely pays to travel a little and avoid the crowds. We visited late November so perhaps within the low season but had the beach to ourselves. It's a great beach, and as mentioned too rough for swimming. I saw an eagle ray jump out...More

Lovely beach and cove with palm trees. Must visit, as it’s a fabulous view with lots of waves. It’s on the south east corner of the island. Unless your on a scheduled tour you’ll need sat nav coz it’s difficult to find.

Loved it! Don´t miss it! Its super beautiful, the sand is white, the vibe awesome. The water is not as calm as on the south coast (so maybe not so good for children), but I had a lot of fun. If you want to have...More

This is definitely one of the greatest postcard perfect areas of the island! As you arrive at a small rough parking area (you need to take some smaller residential areas to get here) you can see the waves hitting the shore and those beautiful palm...More

Amazing! Nice breeze, water rough. We were 2 of maybe 10 people on the beach. There were people swimming, a family, kids had life vests on, they were having fun! There is guy selling drinks at the top before you go down the stairs. Nice...More

The road is kind of off-road and really rough yet you drive literally through residential areas until you make it to a small parking "lot" on the rocks/dirt (can't miss it). I don't recall the signs, we used the google maps... More

i would look into Sapphire Beach condos. We just stayed there and we know the owners of a few condos. Very safe, Guards on duty, gated. Nice restaurants very close. Feel free to ask me for more details.

Its a bit in the middle of nowhere so you need a car and there are no bars or restaurants near by. Being on the beach alone, although seemed safe, may be a little daunting for a lady alone, but the locals and beach sellers... More
