We stopped here as part of a full island Williams tour. Our stop included a tour of the plantation house as well as a buffet lunch. We enjoyed eating some of the local favorites, especially the bread pudding and ice cream! We probably spent more time at the plantation than needed, but all in all it was an interesting and... We visited as part of a cruise tour, the house showed how the other half lived during some terrible times. The rooms are well presented and there are some unusual exhibits too. Our tour included a demonstration of Rum Cocktail making and a taste of some local food. It was good fun.

Lunch is served as a buffet and the menu is changed daily. The service is friendly and helpful and the food is good traditional Bajan cooking. There is a small museum in the house and the garden has several exhibits of local historic interest. Worth a visit for the experience and the meal. We ate there three times during our... More

Enjoyed a very nice lunch along with a visit to the plantation house while on our Williams Tours drive around the island. Very worthwhile visit. Lunch was buffet done right. The food was not extensive but very good ... better than most. And they had a terrific ice cream and bread pudding dessert (to die for, as they say). Behind... More

We had a wonderful tour around this house the guides were very informative and friendly. There are waxwork models of the current owners in glass cases which are very life like in the main entrance room. Each area of the house is furnished and there are some rooms with collections for example sewing machines and cameras. We were in large... More

The house is sumptuous and very indicative of the wealth of the plantation owners. It is however a beautiful house, in a fabulous setting, with an idiosyncratic collection of artefacts. In addition, no starchy old biddies glaring at the children. A survivor of innumerable hurricanes, Sunbury boasts walls of approximately 2 feet 6 inches thick. Its sash windows are protected... Enjoyed touring the museum and having English Tea in the garden. There is a huge collection of horse drawn carriages in the basement.

The Sunbury plantation house admission fee of $10USD is over priced for what you see - the tour does not take very long and the items on display seem to be a collection from all over the island. Nothing really impressive. The guide that walked us through the house was very entertaining & knowledgeable.
