The beach is big and there’s plenty of room but the town is quite run down. It’s probaly worth the extra time to get over to Cardigan bay which is a lot more scenic.

We absolutely loved our time in Rhyl , it was perfect for the children. I would advise small children wear beach shoes & you take a windbreaker for really hot days as it’s so hard easy to forget how hot it is especially for little...More

Go 3-4 miles to Prestatyn for a Blue Flag beautiful clean beach! This is rubbish. It is dirty and full of seagull poo. I went with my children ages 10, 12 & 14 and it was a BIG mistake!

Well must say the seaside resort of rhyl is a great place for couples hand families. Really nice and clean we would say in a couple of years time it will be the number one destination in the north.

It is good but can be a long walk to the water. Check on the tide times before you arrive.
