This is a typical Dales Church with an outstanding roof. Well worth your visit. Sadly TA will not allow my pictures of it.

We had stopped for a cuppa in Askrigg, and happened to find the tea rooms opposite the church. Having looked through the window at it we decided afterwards to look inside. There was a board outside welcoming us in, which encouraged us. It was pleasant...More

We always like to see the local church when on holiday. A very lovely fourteenth century church with lovely stained glass windows. Worth a visit and leave a donation if you can.

A beautiful church with lovely grounds and graveyard. It was closed when we found it as it was evening so we admired it from the outside

Stunning building in a perfect village. It has a very soothing ambience and is full of interest. Located right in the centre of the village, it is a lovely focal point.

Had a look around this village church whilst staying in the village. Lovely location next to the market square. Informative and they even do a children's trail. A quaint Yorkshire village church.

St. Ostwalds Church is a very good example of a Dales church, sitting at the heart of the village of Askrigg. It is worth making time to appreciate it.
