Thanks very much for your review. The museum will re-open on 6 April with our usual Easter Shell Hunt, a different spin on a usual Easter Egg hunt with an underwater twist. Our new programme, including evening events, is now available on our website. Book...More

We were greeted at the door by Martin Marks our guide who proved to be a fountain of knowledge on every item on display. All questions from our small group were answered and our fascinating, friendly and informative visit was complete

We visited the Diving Museum as a group booking of University Divers, after initial contact they were more than happy to open especially for us out of season which we were hugely appreciative of. The Museum itself is set within a Victorian-era gun battery, so...More

Visited the museum as a diver, and wow, there is so much to see and so much collective experience between the guides, certainly a museum, disputes its somewhat niche subject material there is certainly enough knowledge and passion for anybody to enjoy.

Absolutely fantastic visit. We were taken around by John. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. The items they have in the museum give such a wide overview and depth of the history of diving! Will be recommending and returning.

Thanks very much. We try to appeal to all ages, divers and non-divers. Lots of history in the building itself too, along with various challenges. Hence we are closed until the Easter Holidays next year, except by private arrangement.

Interesting museum with terrific staff well worth a visit. Kids will love trying on the diving boots and it’s £3 well spent for over an hour of insightful history. The building is historic too. Note that it’s only open at weekendsMore
