Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After having been there several times we decided to return a few days ago. Although, as always, the prior attention is very good, the service has not been up to par. It is strange that 3 people cannot manage the indoor dining room with the tables that were there, I speak from experience where that range of tables could be managed by myself (5 small tables and one large). Throughout the meal there have been various errors constantly, in the end I had to get up from the table to be attended to after speaking with the service up to 3 times and not giving the answer. All the food, as always, very good, although it took a long time. Javi has always tried to do his best. The truth is, although we love the place and consider it idyllic, if we have to add the trip and the attention received, we would seriously consider returning.

Amazing food and wine experience! Four course meal (starter, salad, main course and dessert) accompanied by two whites and two reds. When we arrived, the host was busy with a large group of french tourists and asked us to wait for half an hour in the garden; while waiting, we were served some light snacks (olives, cheese) accompanied by lovely Viognier! Every meal and wine were thoroughly explained. The people working there are really knowledgeable and passionate about the winemaking. After the meal, we were shown the production rooms and the cellar that once was the underground water reservoir for the estate. And we were offered another red! We stayed there for over 3 hours and truly enjoyed every minute!

It was our third visit to the restaurant. From the beginning the communication and treatment were unbeatable, as always. Happy to return and looking forward to showing our friends this idyllic place that we remembered
Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant it was no longer like that. There had been no communication pertinent to what was previously discussed. The visit to the winery, although free (as in other wineries), is extremely short and poor in terms of production and processes, especially if you already have some experience in the field of oenology. Gratuity is no excuse for us.
It is worth highlighting the kindness, friendliness and cordiality of the person who served us (Javier). Indeed, something that would make us repeat. However, several errors during this same service become incomprehensible, slowness in bringing the food (although we do not know if there was a problem since we were not informed about the seconds it took approx. 40 minutes...), repeated requests (4) in intervals of 5 -10 minutes for the bread to the waitress when she was serving other portions of bread to other tables (incomprehensible)…, forgetting on two occasions the candles on a cake that was supposed to be a surprise… in conclusion, an idyllic place, with very good quality of food, where they take care of the details but in my subjective opinion, even though it has a lot of charm it needs more professionalism on the part of the service.
Finally, and using one of the terms used by Javier during the visit, the “loss of prestige” that he told us about his wine is not only due to production errors but also to the lack of professionalism of the person who produced it. serves (referring to the waiters).

Estimada/o cliente!

Just went for a wine tasting. Very very poor for 21e..they seemed to want to get us out of the way as soon as possible. If you dont want to go down the steps to the celler (not worth it) its 18e. We were there a mere 45 minutes. There are many wineries in El priorat that I have visited and all much much better than this one. Even some that charged only 6e were far better. Would not recommend. Not worth the money at all.

Good afternoon Albert, surely there is a MISTAKE! €3 to go down to the cellar?
Surely there is some confusion because we do not charge €3 to go down the stairs to access the wine cellar! I can even tell you that I personally do the tours free of charge when it comes only to show our winery. It is a great pleasure to be able to receive people interested in the wines that we make in Priorat.
When we do the wine tasting, we taste the three reds: Clos Figueres, Font de la Figuera and Serras del Priorat. Also the two whites: Font de la Figuera blanc and Serras del Priorat blanc... then we are pleased to do a tasting of our own Clos Figueras extra virgin oil, 100% arbequina.
We are very sincerely sorry for your discomfort and we can only invite you back to Celler Clos Figueras when you have a new opportunity to visit Priorat. It was a pleasure to greet you personally during your visit to Clos Figueras. We wait for you again!!

Excellent place for lunch while touring Priorat! We did not do a wine tour but did have a bottle of their wine which was tasty. The food was extra tasty. I had fish and Ryne and our guide had lamb. I would say absolutely choose whichever you prefer since they were both excellent. Of course we stated with charcuterie and cheese. The salad was amazingly fresh - it always seems silly to rave about a sale but when they are this good you get a sense of what we miss out on with supermarket produce.

Some interesting varietals that others don’t have due to a clone error, viognier and chenin blanc which are a nice addition. 30,000 bottles produced. Gisela was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending other wineries and restaurants to visit. Nice wines reasonably priced compared to some others. €24.50 for the font de la Figuera which was our favorite. Beautiful setting for tasting, relaxed and no rush. Fun steep spiral staircase down to the barrel room which used to be a water cistern. Went back a few days later for lunch which was delish. Add this stop to your list.

We didn't eat there, we only did the wine tasting. Two of the four wines we tasted were good, but the other two were amazing! I would strongly recomend a visit if you want to learn more about Priorat wines and taste some excellent ones, perhaps some of the best in the region

We came here for a tasting followed by lunch. We were outside for the tasting which was lush as it was warm and sunny. The lady doing the tasting seemed obviously annoyed with us for some reason (ok we were a little bit late...)and the tasting portions were a little less than we had had previously.
The lunch redeemed this though. First off the bread - rubbing on your garlic, the juicy tomatoes and the yum olive oil then salt made for a different and delightful starter.
The rest of the meal followed suit and we were suitably stuffed by the end!

We opted in for the wine tour and lunch, after some rave reviews from both our hotel and online testaments, and couldn’t have been more impressed with the overall experience.
At the height of summer, the courtyard as you enter is in full bloom creating an incredible oasis as you wait for the guide. We were fortunate enough to be the only two for the English guided tour, which was overall informative and brilliantly guided.
Be sure to have a fabulous lunch; think incredibly fresh and salads and seafood accompanied by equally delicious wines. Based on the quality of food, don’t be shy to try anything (or possibly everything!) on the full-page options to choose from.
A must-do if you’re in the region!
