The Bussaco National Forest currently occupies about 105 hectares of the Bussaco Range and has one of the best dendrological collections in Europe, with about 250 species of trees and shrubs with remarkable specimens. It is one of the National Treasures richest in natural, architectural and cultural heritage. The routes outlined explore the natural and built heritage of the Bussaco National Forest. Regardless of the itinerary, the paths are interpretive, little known of the tourist itineraries, varied and filled with stories to tell. The direct contact with nature, fresh air, local aromas and the sounds of nature, give these activities unique moments of great beauty, reassuring visitors and promoting feelings related to emotional well being.
