For only 2.5e you get an explained visit with a guide at your side, doesnt matter if you're the only people visiting (sometimes you have To wait for the guide To finish the previous, takes 20 To 30 min but its worth the wait) Doesnt takes too long but interesting nonetheless. During one of my island-tours my driver / guide Sergio Cordeiro brings me to a very interesting museum: Musea do Tobacco de Maia, a small tobacco plantation / factory with a museum. Very interesting to understand how it was cultivered and processed. We can see the drying process and packaging. The museum guide explains it very well.

My husband and I were delighted to find this on our drive around the island and were impressed with the knowledge we acquired from the 45 minute tour. Our English speaking guide was outstanding with her accommodation to the varied language needs in our group of 10 people. She easily translated the information so everyone on the tour could have a clear understanding.She included so many interesting details and took the time to respond to questions. Her pleasant personality certainly added to the experience. We highly recommend making this a stop on a tour of Saso Miquel. …
