We love Azores, but this place is really commercialized and the "center" is just a few informative posters. The pools are very small and completely overcrowded in the summer ( high season).

Great spot to experience the pleasures of hot springs while surrounded by lush vegetation. Only in São Miguel!

We visited this site on a full day tour of half of the island. We based out of Ponta Delgada. It is a step back in time and gives you the "Jurassic park" feel. Very clean....do not miss this.

One of the best attraction in São Miguel. You could relax yourself trying the different pools inside the park. You could clean your mind immerged in a pool surrendered between trees and waterfalls. Avoid the weekends and enjoy during the week. Amazing .

Sulphur and iron is heavy, will certainly stain a light colour so unless you want the 'ferrobranco' look go dark colours and nothing too absorbent🙂
