As a bucket list item that I wanted to check off for my 50th birthday, my wife and I headed to Tuscany for a week. We wanted to explore the countryside, stay at a winery (Poggerino), and take some cooking classes in true Tuscan style. We found Toscana Mia after much searching and we were glad we did! What a wonderful way to spend a morning - cooking, sipping wine and then eating our creations. This is a great cooking course and what made it most special is that we were in Simonetta's and Paola's home learning the authentic way of cooking Italian food and then sat around the family kitchen eating with their family. Fantastic !

My partner and I did the cooking class with Paola and Simonetta, alongside 4 others and it was so wonderful! The sisters welcomed us into their home, answered all kinds of questions we had about the region and cultural practices, worked with our preferences and requirements (e.g., I wanted to learn how to make pasta from scratch but one of... Whilst a little on the expensive side the course was very enjoyable. Paola was very humerus and made everyone feel involved. The cooking was simple and fun with everyone getting hands on to make fresh pasta. There was free flow red wine and water and sitting around the dinning table in a 13th century tuscan house truly had a family... More

8 of us participated - 3 of us > 50; 5 - 20's&early 30's. All loved it. Participation is high; Sunonetta & Paola do a fantastic job instructing & letting the participants be fully involved. The food was amazing. Their family joined us to eat the food & it was really a lot of fun. The whole group (men/women pretty... More

We did a half day cooking class with Paola and Simonetta and had loads of fun. The class is carried out in the house of the hosts which makes it a very warm and personal experience. There was only 1 other family with us (7 people in total) so Simonetta gave us plenty of attention and had time to answer... More

We had a wonderful half-day cooking class with Simonetta and Paola! What a wonderful, authentic tuscan experience. Very hands-on. Ingredients were local (much from their own garden) and were all delicious. We have replicated several of the recipes at home.

We had a wonderful four hour session with Paola and Simonetta. The food is fabulous and we created some great memories. I would say that it is a on the expensive side - so if you are in a group - I would send the cooks to this for a the day or half-day and leave the non cooks behind... More

Thank you for your recent posting writing a nice review. We totally agree with you that in a group some people are more interested in cooking than others, that’s why we offer the option that for every person enrolling in the class an accompanying one can just enrol for the meal . More
