This basilica is in the old town in Martina Franca. The outside is absolutely beautiful. But inside is simpler and not extraordinary. It is located near all resrurants and cafes. For Christmas it was lit by beautiful patterned blue light and it was extra lovely.

Stanmansurrey has provided a good review of this Cathedral. I would just like to add that it is well maintained and the frescoes and ceiling are worth a look. We did not visit the Museum that is attached.

This is a magnificent Catholic Church in the Old Town of Martina Franca. There are steps up to the front entrance. It is very beautiful inside with fabulous art work. It has a wonderful chapel and the ceilings are beautifully decorated. Completed in 1785.
