Very pretty predominantly pedestrianised town centre with a number of historic buildings and lovely baroque design. Various cafes / restaurants / bars at different prize point - many open during the day as well as the always busy evening promenade times; very pleasant to sit...More

Nice square / piazza in the middle of the old town. During siesta hours this is probably the only part of town where you can get something to eat or drink because of the tourists. So you may want to head here during lunch hours

Brilliant atmosphere and superb ice cream. Wander among the maze of side alleys and get lost in a time long gone by. Lovely restaurants, fantastic cathedral (basilica) and beautiful bijou shops.

Most of the exterior of churches in Italy are beautiful to see but unfortunately most are not open so you can visit the inside as well. This chuch is and has some nice side chapels to view.

This smallish Piazza not only has the St. Martin's Church, which is terrific, but has a rounded arcade, places to have a drink and lots of ambiance. Since you have walked through beautiful streets to get here it is even more of a joy.

The spiritual centre of Baroque Martina Franca, this oval arcaded space embraces its visitors with a cultured hug. The quality of the architecture in this part of town is extraordinary ... not just the imposing facade of neighbouring San Martino, but many intricately carved examples...More
