Standing at the entrance to the old town, can't miss it. Open all year round. Some areas only accessible by stairs. Worth a visit followed by walk around the old town.

Gallipoli Castle was renovated so it looks like new. But inside there is not too much to see. The best is the view from the top floor.

This overlooks the harbour and is worth a visit. There is a route laid out with information posters in English that describe the history of the fort and the use of each of the rooms. There were photography and painting exhibits in some rooms and...More

It has a very prominent position in the old town on your left as you cross the bridge and as Castles go it is pretty typical with the entrnace area crammed with tourist type places. It dates back to the 13th and 14th century and...More

A well renovated castle. Kind of simple - its the castle - thats it... Maybe they should try to go deeper and explain more about everyday life, examples of battles taking place here and maybe try to add more stuff from back in the day......More
