Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tiny island of old town Gallipoli has over 20 Churches. This Franciscan Church is located at the other end of old town facing the sea. It's a nice 17c Baroque Church, free to visit.

This moderately preserved church on the rim of the island offers a nice respite from the scorching Apulian sun. There is also a tasty cafe next door.

Built 400 years ago this is a nice church facing the sea on one side and the small streets of the old town on the other. The exterior is relatively bare and the interior is very simple, as appropriate for a Franciscan church. There is an interesting wood altare and a very old presepio.

This church has recently been renovated. The front has an inset arch over the main door and a flat roof, blending in with its surroundings. Open also in the evenings from 9:00 pm.
