- disappointeddad2022Perth, Australia1 contributionDated AdventureGo carts very dated, no enclosed shoes no ride. Who brings enclosed shoes to a water park? Used to hand out crocs but stopped doing that? Smokey lawnmower engines in 2022? Paths to rides too hot to walk on. Kraken photos very expensive and no digital option.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 19 December 2022
- tmk357Mandurah, Australia1 contributionBe prepared to wait for everythingSafety gone mad! The wait times on rides are rediculously long even if you have a so called days pass. Honestly it’s just not worth the money at all. The walks on boiling hot ground up to the rides are beyond a joke. There is no proper shade provided for those waiting. Honestly I just cant recommend this. Save your money and go to Perth Zoo for the day or the beach.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 19 December 2022
- ellinghamalanPerth, Australia1 contributionGood site, but could and should have been betterAccess to the site was a shambles. There was no management of the queue and as a result there was a very long line for the 2 kiosks to service pre-booked visitors but there was no queue at all at the other kiosk to provide on-day purchases. People in the long queue should have been directed to the empty kiosk, which thankfully I did by myself. Access to Food and Drink was another shambles. They had only one place open for hot food, which also provided drinks. There was no other bar (the Tika Bar) open just to provide drinks. As a result it was a 20 minute wait just to buy a drink. Spoke to the manager who said that there was inadequate staffing – fair enough but put that on the site, otherwise I would not have attended!!! Or use vending machines. My party of 4 thankfully did have a good time despite the issues above. The food we had was great, the staff were well-trained/courteous and the rides were all managed. Nevertheless, the experience, could and SHOULD have been better.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 19 December 2022
- sashavancgirlPerth, Australia1 contributionFriendly staff, fun ridesThe staff were friendly and helpful when getting onto rides/slides. The rides were fun, however it was unfortunately very busy due to end-of-school excursions, so it's a good idea to be aware of what time of year you are visiting. A fast pass would have been worthwhile.Visited December 2022Written 20 December 2022
- scooterpig1187229 contributionsGreat Family Day outWe had family visiting from overseas and decided to have a day at adventure world. What an absolutely fantastic day. The park caters for just about every age and ability. The rides and waterslides are so much fun and all the staff on each of the attractions are extremely fun and professional. The day we went was a public holiday so the park was extremely busy. It was mainly young people working on the attractions and credit to adventure world in how they train them, they were all friendly, enthusiastic, polite and wanted to make sure everyone was having fun. A couple of the rides do have a weight limit for safety which is clearly written on the website and at the park. I saw a you g worker trying to be bullied by people who had clearly not paid attention to all of the information, the way he handled them was polite, respectful and very professional. I would recommend getting the fast passes as we did to avoid the long lines. The only thing I could suggest for improvement is the food and beverage areas, it appears to be all young people working in the area we were at who were all trying hard, but it just seem to lack someone a bit senior to lead and drive the crew which could make it more efficient. In saying that, we did pack our own lunch and drinks so it was really only an ice cream we had to wait a long time in line to get but other family members did have a wait for lunch. As a whole, it’s a fantastic day out and loads fun and recommend a visit. looking forward to our next visitVisited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 January 2023
- A-League f1 contributionSolid experience but could be betterI am going to give you a 100 percent honest review. I went with my sister in the school holidays on a Monday and I have to say most of the rides were incredibly fun. The kraken was incredibly thrilling but the waiting times could definitely be improved for many of the rides. But some did have only 5 minute waiting times like sea serpents and tidal wave but on things like the speed slides and tunnel of terror which by the way were so much fun to ride on the lines were definitely too long for what you get. I recommend they create at least a couple more slides just to improve the variety a bit. The kahuna falls with the slides is not bad either. The staff were very nice especially the lady running the kraken in the morning but there was one worker on the sea serpents in the morning who was trying to be smart and funny whilst wasting peoples time. He was also trying to do trick shots with the tubes which so annoying to wait whilst he was messing around but besides that the staff were very nice in my experience. One thing I did notice that with the weight limits on things like the rocky rapids, they were letting on people who were clearly over the weight limit but nothing went wrong so maybe they should reconsider that so more people will want to go. In conclusion, It was a solid experience but things could be improved in the future for the price it costs. My top 5 recommended rides are: Kraken, Abyss, Tidal wave, tunnel of terror and the sea serpents are not bad as well.Visited January 2023Written 17 January 2023
- Daniel BMandurah, Australia1 contributionGreat fun park I’ve been going for 20 years . Sad to see chair lifts gone and park needs more updated water slidesMy wife and I took out 2 teenage girls with there friend . We had a great day as it wasn’t overly busy . It is sad tho to see that the chair lifts and other areas like the old castle are just being left to rot away plus some of the parks hand rails are rusty and loose . This park is getting old and definitely needs some major investment to keep it safe and fun for future families. This park definitely needs more water slides that are newVisited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 January 2023
- Toncla25 contributionsUrine in the slide line that everyone had to stand in for 10-20 minutes while waiting for the slidesThe lines for the rapids took 20 minutes to get through. The water in line stunk like a man’s urinal and many people in the line said they could smell urine and held their nose- obviously people were peeing while they waited 20+ minutes for the tunnel of terror and rapids ride- so disgusting and a health hazard. The lines everywhere took 10-20 minutes and it was a hot waste of time. Will never go again, revolting place.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 February 2023
- Louise C9 contributionsGreat day outWe have been going to adventure world each year for the last three years, as my 11 year old daughter loves this water park ; lots of water slides , large outdoor pool for swimming/ relaxing and a handful of land based roller coaster type rides. This year we booked a poolside cabana and what a difference it made! Cute little tiki style huts with a bar fridge ( comes with bottled water) , safe for belongings, deck chairs and ceiling fan , I’m 8 months pregnant and it meant that my husband and daughter could enjoy the water slides/ rides, while I enjoyed have a swim and reading in the cabana - best bit is it’s cabana service so no queuing for food & beverages and our cabana came with a $100 food & beverage voucher. Cabana area is supposed to be private entry only however there is no pin code / swipe pass , so anyone can access this area to wander through - adventure world would benefit from securing this area to restrict access. My husband and daughter also said the wait times on the water slides seemed to be long and inefficient- they recommended a ‘fast pass’ for next time. It would also be great if adventure world did spectators or pool access only passes for people who cannot access the rides but still want a day out with their family .Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 March 2023
- Adriano PPerth, Australia6 contributionsAverage ExperienceThey were under staffed and the lines were huge. They alternated the opening/closing of some rides and were up to 30mins late when re-opening rides. They had one staff member operating 2 rides, which made the wait times very long. The food line was insanely long and slow – almost an hour to order food. The rides we rode were fun.Visited March 2023Written 6 March 2023

For the most part, our experience was fun. common complaint was feet burning on the hot pavement....some areas had sprayed water to keep the paving cooler and some had shade cloth like the Kraken. For the amount of money charged for entry, I'd expect better. Value for money wise, places like Dreamworld in QLD are far superior.
Also, some staff don't know how to communicate to guests when there is problem like when the scales were not working at the line up to get tubes for the lazy river ride.....The line didn't move for 15 minutes and people were asking what's going on.....the lack of communication from staff about the issue was poor.

My daughter chose to have another birthday at Adventure World, was an awesome day had by all. Even though it was a super hot & busy day we found the ride wait times very reasonable. Fun day had by both the kids & the parents.

Couldn't rate the place any higher - something for everyone, even those of us who were happy to sit in the shade with a book! Would be great to have an entry price for those not wanting to use the rides or slides though.

Had an amazing experience for the most part, staff are lovely and the rides are amazing. However, I wish some of the water rides were more accessible to people with disabilities/walking difficulties such as myself, especially the kraken and potentially others with long flights of stairs. After only a few hours, I'm unable to do very much as my joints begin to ache quite badly and I'm restricted to the pool, black widow, and goliath, all of which are fun, but it would be nice to be able to enjoy the other rides more than once before experiencing discomfort.

We were very impressed by the rides and service was fast and efficient.
Only down fall is the price, it’s not something we can afford to do often.

How much is the return pass these days? Also is there an option to upgrade to a season pass instead of return pass n what's the prices? Thanks
Krystal B
Perth, Australia118 contributions
The season pass and platinum passes had sold out I am not sure what the return price is as I have a season pass. The season pass when it was on sale I got it at early bird rate for $485 for 2 adults and 3 kids it was worth it as a single day pass for the four of us was going to be $202 we have been 4 times now.

Would just like to check if there are any special rates for uni students? What is this “concession” ticket stated on their webpages and who is it targeted to? Thank you

Perth, Australia13 contributions
Hi, We took our grandchildren and paid full price for them but concession prices for ourselves as we are retired. It turns out that Seniors (typically 65 and over) can pay only $25 entry as opposed to $54. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find details of the concessions on their website, but the Groupon idea mentioned by Swlockie is a good one
Hello, I'm wondering if you enter the park using a return pass, are you able to purchase another return pass while there? Thanks!

Hi Bethany. Return Visit Passes can only be purchased upon presentation of a receipt of a standard day ticket. Return Visit Passes cannot be purchased using a Return Visit Pass. Hope to see you in park soon!
Hello so me and some family are about to go to adventure World in a couple days and was wondering if there are any others out there who are of LARGER SIZE that could ease my anxiety of doing the walk of shame. Would love to know what rides are a can and cannot

Hi
There are a range of rides and pool options. Fear not you will have a great time. But some hard to comment as some rides will have a size restriction for safety reasons. But most of the water ones will have no issues

Any weight height requirements for rides??
FlameWalker
Busselton, Australia7 contributions
Yes, some rides you gave to be at least 120cm. A few you must be 145cm. If you go to website, you can click on a ride, then click on 'Can I ride this?' for specs :)
if i buy a fast pass, do i have to buy a day ticket? or is the fast pass already a ticket?
