he small church of “Saint Etienne” de Cheverny is located just on the outside of the “Chambord” Castle, so at only a few steps away.
This church is listed as an hitorical monument and this since the year 1954, and it is owned by the town of Cheverny.
It has gotten a restauration and this in the 16th century.

Unique painted corbels, warm community. We were welcomed and felt very comfortable, even with our limited French language skills. Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday Mass here.

Very old church close to the Chateau Cheverny. Musty smelling and simple but just imagine when and how they built this.....
