Good initiative!
They have a large selection of local wines (AOP Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny).
I know the local wines. It gave us the opportunity to taste and compare some wines that I wanted to try. And the end we bought a box of 6 bottles of the wine that we liked the most.

The idea of an automated system to pour wine was pretty interesting but the highly graded wines - according to them - were already emptied and were not replenished. Some of the wines available were not too good. We had fun but we didn't consider buying anything. It's very boring for children. The person in charge didn't explain or suggest anything, I am not sure how this establishment can pay their bills.

Fairly well run and less than seven euros for the tasting. Can't say I found anything I wanted to purchase but they did not pressure us to buy anything.

Huge range of regional wines to try. Automated system in which you pre-pay for a number of samples up to seven. Uncomplicated experience with no pressure to buy.

This was an extremely good wine tasting visit. We chose to pay €6,50 for unlimited tasting. We got a glass and a booklet to note the wines we tasted etc. Wines are dispensed from spouts in three towers, one each for red, rose and white. The glass is placed on a platform under the spout and a tasting "dose" is dispensed. Brilliant choice of wines!

Good range of wines at a great price. 4€ for a tasting glass is very good value and bottles start at only 6,90€. Highly recommend.

Buy a glass with a metal token attached. You place this on the wine dispenser and a small sample is delivered into your glass. This is an excellent idea and you also get to keep the glass. The hostess was good and spoke english. She gave our children a glass of fruit juice which they enjoyed. This a cheap way and interesting way to try local wines. If you visit the chateau at Cheverny then pop in but do not make a special journey just for this attraction.

Found this shop by accident. Tried a small selection of whites and reds. Quiet at first then got busy. Great service in English and French. I loved the Cour-Chiverny single variety white only available locally. The red of the day was also good some fruit and pepper but not over the to. Located just before the entrance to the Chateau, parking across the road and public toilets.

This winery is ok but nothing to get excited about. The shop at chambord selling these wines is fine for a quick stop. The hostess is not especially knowledgable about the wines. The wines are ok.
