Very congested and unclean. Motorcycles driven by the locals run all over with speed causing much trouble to tourists and pedestrians on the riverside. No traffic control anywhere.

Ganga Arti is very beautiful to watch here. The "authorities" over there will try to pull you into areas where you may not be able to see the arti clearly. Beware of them. Enquire from locals where exactly Arti happens and then choose your place...More

This place is suppose to be very clean, in stead it is very much DIRTY. Why can't anybody apply Prime Minister's ' Swachata Abhiyan' to this holy place? Please note this and do something

I suggest you can directly go to Har Ki Pauri and there you can find so many Pandit who is doing Pooja. So you will have to check and negotiate about price. Because there is no fix price they all charge differently.
